2. Area Rugs; Wool area rugs that certified “child-labor free”. Also a great renewable material.

4. Energy Saver; Dimmer switches through-out your home will help in conserving energy.
5. Plumbing Fixtures; Look for fixtures that state “low-flow” (These fixtures reduce the amount of water released per use are labeled “low-flow” or “low-flush.” These fixtures use just enough water to be effective without wasting).
6. Appliances; Look for “low-energy” appliances.
7. Windows; Adding more windows to a home allows more natural light to flood the space and also creates a great breeze through the home, lessening the use for air-conditioning.
8. Tile; Use tiles that are made from recycled materials, such as recyclable glass tiles or ceramic tiles. New products are constantly being created, so ask your sales consultant about them.
