Tuscany Style Kitchen Remodel
This beautiful kitchen remodel was designed and created by Kelly Hendricks, a San Diego Interior Designer at Gourmet Galleys & Loos | Kitchen and Bath Design. This kitchen was once a small and tight space, making it difficult for even two people to function properly on a daily basis. By removing the structural wall between the kitchen and living room and omitting the living room all together, we were able to create this relaxing, Great room with a nice warm open feeling. Adding 19 lineal feet of usable countertop space on the island alone. We also adding a miniature sports bar, connecting to the adjacent California room by installing a bi-folding sliding panel window and continuing the bar countertop through the new window and out onto the atrium/patio, allowing seating for 6 people at the bar comfortably. Spanish Style Kitchen Remodel
One could only imagine how this kitchen was once an eye sore from the late 70's with it's typically "U" shape kitchen, its dark brown cabinets and dark brown tiled floor, floor to ceiling brick enclosed ovens, poor lighting, dysfunctional storage and of course built for one person and one person only to fit in this kitchens tight working space. Inspired by Spain and our next door neighbor Mexico, this new kitchen is now something to be proud of. Replacing an old window that looked into the swimming pool courtyard with new French doors makes accessing this kitchen a breeze! We also removed a sliding glass door on the back sink wall and replaced with it with a single French door and a small window. This allowed us to expand the length of the kitchen all the way down underneath the window. An extra sink was added to the island and custom painted black and green cabinets topped it off. Revival of a 5-year-old Kitchen
Cramped to spacious!
This once upon a time, one person, small and cramped "U" shaped kitchen with cabinets hanging down over the peninsula has been revitalized and refreshed by adding much more space, new appliances, storage and tons of counter top space. It went from drab to fab! Designed by: Kelly Hendricks CID, www.gourmetgalleys.net
Traditional Style Kitchen Remodel
This kitchen was once from the 80's with its recessed fluorescent ceiling lighting, oak cabinets, stacked appliances and boxed in appearance. Now it's beautiful, multi-person, tons of drawers, and lots of interactive counter top space. Opening up the space made a huge impact for this kitchen and the people who use it.
